Herman Cain in First GOP Debate

Last night Fox News hosted the first GOP debate in Greenville, South Carolina. Don’t worry. I will leave it to Matthew to do a thorough break down of the debate as a whole. However, since it was held here in South Carolina I thought I should report on what I am hearing from fellow South Carolinians in regards to who walked away as the clear winner. Yes, such a candidate has emerged and it was none other than Herman Cain.
I first discovered Herman Cain back in January when I wrote:

Herman Cain’s conservative credentials could not be much better – a pro-life, pro-second amendment, anti-affirmative action, anti-Obamacare, successful entrepreneur with real-life experience in the market saving people from losing their jobs and major companies from collapse and who is dedicated to abolishing the current tax code!

Then, going into the debate yesterday, I would’ve sworn Cain was doomed after he praised President Obama for not releasing the Osama Bin Laden death photos. I thought the remarks would set him apart and make him look like an amateur candidate for the remainder of the race. Boy, was I wrong! From e-mails to phone calls to facebook statuses following the debate, I was bombarded with overwhelming support for Herman Cain.
